Saddlers Play Area is now officially reopened

Exciting News for Raunds Families!

Saddlers Play Area is now officially reopened with NINE brand new pieces of play equipment!

Councillor Lee Wilkes, Deputy Mayor and Councillor Ollie Curtis, Chairman of the Environment, Leisure & Recreation Committee were on hand to officially reopen the play area, and it looks fantastic!

Deputy Mayor Lee Wilkes said "As part of the Council's long-term commitment to make Raunds a great, safe place to live, work and visit - I am delighted to see the improvements to Saddlers Play Area come to fruition. The Town Council constantly strive to ensure that any housing development in Raunds contributes to the community, and in this instance, we've been able to use earmarked developer contributions from the neighbouring housing development to cover the costs of the play area improvements"

The new equipment is for children aged 1 to 12 years old.

Head down to Saddlers Play Area and let the kids burn off some energy!
