Raunds Town Council Awards Grant to 1st Raunds Scout Group

The Mayor of Raunds was delighted to recently present a cheque for £500 to the 1st Raunds Scout Group. This grant will be used to support the personal development of the young people involved in the group.

The funds will be allocated towards the purchase of a new tent to replace the group's current one, which has been in service for over 20 years. The new tent will provide a safe and comfortable space for the scouts to enjoy outdoor activities.

Councillor Paul Byrne, Mayor of Raunds said "We're delighted to support the 1st Raunds Scout Group, their work in developing young people's skills and character is invaluable to our community. I hope this grant will help them continue to expand these vital services."
