A45 Chowns Mills Roundabout improvements

We continue to take advantage of the lower traffic by using 24/7 lane closures (single lane running) at the A45 / A6 Chowns Mill junction, in all directions.

In addition to the 24/7 lane closures (single lane running) the following planned night time closures will take place:

Tuesday | A45 between Chowns Mill Rbt and Rushden Lakes western carriageway closed. | 8pm to 6am

21-Apr | A45 between Rushden Lakes and Chowns Mill Rbt Eastbound carriageway lane closures (single lane running)

Wednesday | A45 between Chowns Mill Rbt and Rushden Lakes western carriageway closed. | 8pm to 6am

22-Apr | A45 between Rushden Lakes and Chowns Mill Rbt Eastbound carriageway lane closures (single lane running)

Thursday | A45 between Chowns Mill Rbt and Rushden Lakes western carriageway closed. | 8pm to 6am

23-Apr | A45 between Rushden Lakes and Chowns Mill Rbt Eastbound carriageway lane closures (single lane running)

Friday | WEST HALF OF THE ROUNDABOUT CLOSED: | 8pm to 6am

24-Apr | A45 between Chowns Mill and Rushden Lakes (west arm)

closed in both directions (eastbound & westbound).

A6 between Kimbolton Road Rbt (Rushden) and Nene Park (Irthlingborough) NORTHBOUND carriageway closure.

A6 Southbound and A45 Stanwick to Chowns Mill are open.

NOTE:Signed diversion routes will be in place during any closures. Our planned closures may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, we will notify you if there are any changes to the schedule.
