I am a local businesswoman and live with my significant other Lee here in Raunds, we have two grown up children and a wonderful granddaughter. I like to keep myself busy and am involved in many local projects and organisations. I have been a Town Councillor in Raunds since 2012 and was a District Councillor for Stanwick Ward at East Northants Council from 2015 to 2021. I was elected to the New North Northamptonshire Council in May 2021 and am honoured to be Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Sport, Leisure, Culture and Tourism.

I support and promote a wide range of activities for all members of our community and have been instrumental in creating an Events working party for Raunds which has now been formally constituted as Raunds Town Council Events Committee. I served as Mayor of Raunds from 2015-2017 and during that time I led the Council in gaining the Gold Standard of Governance and set up The Mayors Show and Town Picnic to improve community spirit and cohesion. The Events Committee is also responsible for the children's Halloween party and Christmas Lights switch on event improvements. I am truly delighted with their success and will continue to improve and promote these events.

I have been actively involved in many projects and committees over the years.

Current Committees:

Finance Committee

Personnel Committee

Other Interests:

Volunteer for The Community Speed Watch programme within the town.

Council's representative in the campaign for The Rushden Lakes

Trustee for East Northants Community First Responders

I was previously the council's representative on JAG (Joint Action Group), looking at local issues such as anti-social behaviour, speeding and policing to ensure our town continues to be a safe place to live, I now take a more holistic view in my role as Deputy Leader of NNC.

I joined local government to make a difference within the community that I live, bringing people together was, and is a goal of mine as well as ensuring best practice and best value.

If you need my assistance in any way then please contact the office. I will always do what I can to assist.

Thanking you for your continued support.
